hey yO!anyway i go by coupe over THERRRE... ok heres the ONE difference. on the 5TH gen accord... the bolt for the linkage to connect to the lever is a part of the lever. it is welded on. On the 4th gen prelude, the same bolt is just a bolt, not part of the lever, and still connects the lever to the linkage. with my FORBIDDEN MOTORSPORTS SHORT SHIFTER which is modeled after the C's short shifter for the 4th gen prelude, i have to just find a bolt, which is the same size as the prelude's, then make a "gasket" (more of a spacer) for the bolt/linkage. when your installing im sure youll understand. anyway, i hope you like your shifter as much as i like mine!

ps. i bought the "gasket" from honda for $4.57

the lever is swapable. There are guys who use the reg 4th gen lude shifter to replace the 5th gen. I'm using a PSPEC short shifter (group buy about 1-2 months ago) that I'm fairly happy with which is supposed to be modelled after the C's as well. Shifts are more precise and definately shorter, not rough in any way. I dont like the neutral position of it though, it sits too far forward, hoping Pete would correct it if he he were to make a 2nd batch, I definatley prefer the stock neutral positioning and lever angles.
