I'm getting cel 16 which is fuel injectors. What do I check first? Symptoms are sometimes car doesn't start, but starts in a few minutes if I leave the car alone. Also, at idle, the revs go from 1100-1200. Thanks guys

Motor? Ecu? Injectors? wiring?

 

I got the EXACT problem, my car is a stock 90 DX Hatch - anyone know what's going on? My symptoms are just like his, it won't start for a little while.. then I come back a couple minutes later and it works fine

Did you do a DPFI to MPFI swap in it or is the motor stock?

 

motor is stock, nothing done to it

Your fuel injection main relay is probably going bad.

 

make sure the wires are not comming out of the plugs.

This happened on my car.
