My Thermal is great. It's not that loud, but that could just be me because my other car had an Apexi N1 (LOOUUDD).
You could also get 3" mandrel bends from kteller8 for a much better deal.

My guess would be the APEXi (which is 3.16" by the way) would have the best flow over the chamber style mufflers. I find the Thermal R&D to be quite quiet. Just very very deep.
I love my dynomax bullet muffler....nice and quiet! haha yea right! actually its a lot quieter than open downpipe and these mufflers are straight through so the flow is excellent. Run 2 of them and it should be perfect for a daily driver.

yea, actually thats what i have and who i bought it from. i have a 22" resonator i think.... no cat..... and the es oval. it isnt that loud i guess unless your are crusing down the highway over 2800 rpm. it is nice and low. has a pretty tone... but unless i am at like 2500rpm or lower... or WOT its too loud... cant hear myself talk inside the car. maybe i need some sound deadening in the rear... dyno matt that **** or something?
i also thought about getting one of those tiny mufflers and tossing it inline before my muffler... or buy another resonator to quiet it down a little.. i dont think it would hurt flow much cuz they are straight through.

Or you could just get a hi-flow cat.

Dynomax bullets do a damned good job of muffling the sound, considering they're basically a straight pipe, lol. I run a single 4" bullet on my car, it's about 2 feet long, dumped right after the muffler. It's louder than crap, but I didn't notice ANY loss in power with it on, and it makes it driveable on the highway.

i already have a 3" cat back exhaust.... just considering different mufflers for a better look and tiny bit quieter sound. is the thermal real quiet? i know my friends thermal is so quiet you cant even hear the exhaust unless you are right behind the car. but his is only 2.25" on a N/A b16
