Quick questions about crx brakes
90-91 si came with discs, 90-91 hf&dx came with drums...having to deal with that now...got a 90dx with a swap and drums in the back....I can go fast, just can't stop fast...But I'm in the process of upgrading the brakes.

Drums probably aren't the cause, look into some new pads + rotors for the front and just stock replacements for the rear and you should be good. If I didn't already have discs I probably want them too though

Heh, well even my CRX stops really slow - '90 Si with rear discs. I'm thinking maybe my calipers need to be rebuilt. I hope the proportioning valve isn't screwed though...
BTW: I've replaced pads and rotors, flushed/bled the brake fluid (DOT 4 in there), and installed a rebuilt master cylinder (bench bled). All of these things made a nice difference, but it still sucks.

I've thought about it, but I don't want to because they're pretty expensive. I'll probably do it sometime down the road.. (haha, get it? down the road... because brakes stop you an... err.. nevermind)

For what its worth, I'd go with a wilwood or fastbrakes/wilwood kit if I was gonna go that far (and I intend to)

Ex breaks in the front with a really good set of pads, and it should be fine. i was thinking of doing a read disc swap, and all the research that I did led me to the decision of just leaving the drums. The MC might have to get upgraded also.
