I'm totally getting screwed over by Image Motorsport. I ordered VIS hood and they gave me a JSP hood over a month later. I asked why I got JSP and he says they are both same thing... made by same guy and JSP is ALOT better. He said VIS is a junk.
Whatever, I ask him to order me a VIS hood again, now price suddenly changes to $990 from $600(Canadian). wtf?

**** it, I take the JSP hood because it looked OK from inside the building. When I tried to mount it under the sunlight, I see all these bubbles, white spots on the edges etc.
So I brought it back to the shop and showed him. To him, it's the still best hood he has seen and it's flawless. I ask him again to take this back and he refuses it. Now he says I orderd JSP hood.
I thought this guy was nice first time but as I talk to him over and over again, I can clearly tell this is not the guy you want to buy stuff from.

It took over a month when he said it will be here in 10 days.

Conversation 15 days ago.
Me: Why is this taking so long
Him: Because it's a special order, they are making it for you.

Conversation Yesterday.
Next time.
Me: So you said they (VIS and JSP) are made by a same guy, but why did I get JSP, not VIS.
Him: Because JSP one was in stock

Conversation Today.
Me: I don't like this hood ..blah blah
Him: It's a perfectly a good hood. This is a special order, when you order it, they just made it for you.


Ok, now you tell me this is the best hood around and it's far superior to VIS hood.

I drive an EL, only VIS and JSP and other unknown companies make hood for my car.

Those pics are JSP hood, not VIS.

take that **** back. Sue the bastard if he wont give your money back...i wouldve went thru hell trying to get my money back but they are on the west coast and i am on the east...if they are local give that back and def go with the VIS..

That hood is a piece of ****. I would take it and break that **** over his face if he didn't give me a refund. You better take some action man, don't let that ****** get away with ripping you off like that.

 

After seeing those pics... u really need to get your money back... that hood is crap... u shouldnt have took it in the first place... but i guess u'll live and learn if u dont do nothing about it....

I have been through 2 VIS hoods.. one for USDM front..and now one for my JDM front..

I had the USDM front on for 2 years.. baked in southern california weather for 2 years.. and the day I took it off for my JDM front.. the Hood looked brand new.

Like I said.. VIS gets my vote any day.. return that thing

 

now that is just a real crappy hood ur better off buying a hood off ebay than that piece of crap you got sorry they screwed you hope everything gets better for you

REAL vis hoods are very good quality. Lots of people advertise their hoods as being VIS, but they sell you some POS knock-off.

 

Return it, it's ****. I've seen better hoods than that. You don't need to pay for something you aren't satisfied w/.

return it..threaten to sue or some sort...JSP is shitty hood..I think JSP makes ricer wings and ugly bodykits, nothing good could come out from them...

 

yeah, that hood is pretty crappy.my $250 USD autolink hood wasnt perfect but its finish was way better than that.....

 

That hood is of pretty shitty quality. I would demand a refund, but by the way the seller seems, that's not gonna happen.

 

If you used a credit card, have them work out the problem with the store.

thats soo fucked up man. I'd defenatlly threat to sue. Just tell them he was trying to take advantage of a customer, and all that. because he was.. man thats so messed up. you should post the number of the shop so we can have some words with the seller

 

I'd put that crap back in the box and send it straight back to them. An escrow service would have helped out in this situation.

 

That's crazy. Take that hood back and get your ****. Damn dude. That's a shop you don't want to go back to. Sorry man.
