Default My EF's dyno numbers....

Well we finally got our 3 hrs on the dyno.
Engine is LS/Vtec with Jun3 cams and lots of other goodies.

211 Whp and 143 ft/lbs

Any guess on what the 1/4mi numbers will be?

Cheers

huh...211 whp...seems a little low...what kind of engine management are you using with it? is that CTR pistons in a LS block and B16 head?

I'm sure we can get more out of it when we do cam adjustments in the fall, but we thought 211 at the wheels was pretty respectable.

Pretty damn respectable numbers to me. At least I know it's built right. Way to go Frog boys!
Now take it out to Mission and we'll line up! I'd hate to get embarrased though. You should see easy 12's with proper amount of seat time.

We're taking 2 cars to get dyno tuned in the next 2 weeks. You guys gotta give me some pointers when I get out there.

With slicks, I could see possible high 12s. On street tires, 13s definitely. Also, do you have an LSD. One of my biggest problems with my car is keeping the tires from spinning.

Excellent numbers. A 2.0L GSr here made 215 at the wheels with some good headwork, but not tuned very much.

Hell, my turbo car only made 232 at the wheels last time it was on the dyno... but it made 180 ft lbs!

Good work. Look for mid 13's on street tires in a decent weight car, 12's on slicks with a lightweight car.

Good HP numbers. I got luckly and when I bought my B16 motor and trans I was able to get a YS1 "LSD" trans out of a integra XS-i for the same cost as if I bought it without a LSD. Basicly the whole motor trans was taken out of a OBD1 cable trans XS-i.I have yet to take my new motor set-up to the track yet I'm building a LS bottom end right now. I just blew up my turbo ZC motor so it's taking some time now. About your track numbers and this is just my opion and from experiences. What you run at the track depends as I'm sure you know on literally 100 different things can effect what you run. How hot it is outside , condition of tires , motor temp , air quality , track conditions , etc. When I had my old ZC non turbo I'd go to one track that was basicly a PRO track and run a 15.0 but when I would go to another track 1 hour up the road I'd only be hitting 15.5's. PENDING on how heavy your car is and I'm going by if you have basicly a full interior and no stereo sh*t ( like subs and stuff ). Mid. 13's maybe at the highest 13.7 on streets tires. On Street Drag radials ( I.e. Nitto's or BFG's ) most likely real low 13's pending on the driver. With Full blown Slicks I'd agree that high 12's is possible. I have only seen EG's ( 92'-95' civic's ) LS/VTec's run at the tracks and for the little work they had done they ran strong times. Juts my $.02 but let us know what happens when you go. If you can take a digi cam and record it that would be even sweeter. VERY VERY nive set-up you have though.

Those are great numbers. I hope to be putting down those kinds of numbers as soon as I get the motor built.
