Default B20 in EG Alternator clearance

I just finished droping my b20 into my 93 hatch and I am a little concerned with the proximity of the alternator pulley to the frame, I was under the impresion that you only had to bang the frame in on ef's. can anyone with a b-series swap tell me if they did or didn't bang in the frame for clearance?

Thanks, Mike.

no need to beat your car....just get a 1/2 inch smaller alt belt and you should be fine.....it should be fine as it sits but if you need peace of mind just get a smaller belt
