Default some b20 ?'s

dropping a b20 in my eg, ran into a few problems, using an ls harness, connector doesnt fit in my b20 alternator so i tried an alternator off my lsvtec should i repin the connector and just use the b20 alternator any suggestions, another problem, the bitch pin in the linkage, heated it to get it out obviously but heated it and wont go back in

the alternators are obd specific. you will need the same obd alternator as the harness, and it needs to be b series. and yes a LS alternator will work fine.

you may need a new bitch pin. They are really cheap at Honda. I squished one together with a vice once, but I recomend buying another one if you can.

The part # for B series bitch pin is 94305-80222

I just picked one up for $1.15 at my local Honda dealership.

I'm doing a B20 swap as well and I had to switch my OBD2 alternator and dizzy to a OBD1 version.

thanks will get a new pin, but when i use the ls alternator neither of my belts fit tho what belt should i use

You could use your old harness that is what I did in mine DX great motor great trq

the belt doesn't fit because the b20 crank pulley is way bigger so change that out to the Ls pulley also
