looking good, but you should either buy the Comptech foam filter or find a way to seal up the airbox.

w/ that stock arm and K&N filter, the setup is pretty much identical to my K&N filter inside my stock airbox w/ the tube going down to the fenderwell area. and since I used the base of a stock filter to attach my K&N, it seals up the airbox nicely, just like stock.

It might since you KN does not give enough clearance to sides of the box thus limiting the surface area where air can travel. This is just guess, the best way to find out is either dyno or do a flow profile, which takes time.

the comptechs are adustable in 3 ways.. soft, medium, and hard.. I have it set to medium.. turning corners are a joy, in total control.

I think the K&N 3130 fills up the gap better.

I got it for a good price from a member on HT

and for the butt dyno.. First thing I noticed.. much better throttle response! than the previous counterpart AEM SHORT RAM (SUX)

Second.. NO more ******* whistle noise from my intake, used to happen around 3RPM

Third.. definately pulls harder in the midrange.. that cold air does wonders

I like the whistle sound and the growl from my AEM short ram!
