Ok, so I had a new roof skin welded on my hatch. I dropped the car off at the shop pretty much gutted. Headliner, and most of the interior was removed. I got the car back a couple days later with my new roof on.

Question time:
The sensor that reads that the hatch is open, and causes the light to light up in the cluster, is not hooked up. I have 2 small plugs that run along my pillar, and across the driver side of the roof in the interior. They stop somewhere around the quarter window, and that's where the 2 plugs are dangling.

I have no clue where the other side of those plugs are. I can't find them anywhere. Does anyone know where they come from on the hatch side? I looked all over, but couldn't find anything. It sucks cause my hatch light is always on in my gauge cluster, and when I set my alarm it has the extra beep cause it's reading like my hatch is open. :/

Does anyone know, or have a diagram or something of where the wires meet? Or at least where they come from so I can make a new connection if the old one was cut or destroyed by the auto shop.

if you need more explained, or anything please let me know. I would REALLY appreciate some help.

According to my Helms it's a green wire that goes back to the tailgate latch. Just ground that wire and it should solve the problem permanently.

hmmm.. weird.

yeah you're right. I just checked it out and I don't see the problem still, but I now know these wires are for the dome light. sheesh. I think the bulb may be out thought. One is white/red and the other is light green/red.
