Default 35mm Diff Bearings VS 40mm's...

Is the only difference with these bearings, the input diameter (35mm/40mm)...?

I have been trying to find a 40mm quaife for the past 4 weeks (back ordered for at least another month), and have only came accross a couple 35mm's units.

Can I use the 35mm bearings with a 35mm bearing quaife in a 40mm bearing tranny?

Just need confirmation before I order...

nope, the 40mm has a larger diameter (81mm i think) and the 35mm is a 72mm (or so) diameter.

check hondaautomotiveparts and you should see the 2 part numbers. look up the a 88+ si tranny (for the 40mm bearing) and a 88-89 dx/hf tranny (for the 35mm bearing).
