Oil Pressure Sender/Sensor Q
I just got an Autometer Phantom Electric Oil pressure gauge for my D16Y8, and I plan on installing it this weekend when I start my turbo install, but I have a question about it. Since I'm tapping into the system on the back of the block by the factory sender for the oil feed for the turbo, and the new gauge I'm worried that I am going to have to much stuff hanging off the back of the block with the brass connectors. Would it be possible to replace the factory sender with the Autometer one so that I only need one T fitting as opposed to connecting 2 T's to each other to make enough outputs for all of my parts...? Would it be possible to wire the Autometer sender into the ECU to keep CEL's off and VTEC working, or am I forced to use both?
run a braided line off the block.
Make sure you get the BSPT to NPT Adapter
then run the line to the firewall. you can then hook up the sender to the line. and mount the sender to the firewall. this way there is no big thing hanging off your block. This method has worked flawlessly on my civic

What did you use to mount it to the firewall (ie: what kind of bracket/support) and where did you end up placing yours (pics would be great if you could provide them).
