Electrical Oil Pressure Gauge
Tried Search.....No luck....... I'm am going to buy a Autometer Electrical Oil Pressure Gauge. What am I supposed to hook it to? Oil Pressure Switch? or am I gonna have to drill a hole to put the sender it? Please help. I don't want a mechanical because I don't want to have to run all the lines.
the sensor it comes with goes in place of the oil pressure switch. ive had both and i think the mechanical is better just because my sender for the electric one went to **** in a month..vibration or whatever it went out and scared the **** out me. using a mechanical just run an actual oil tube (not very big) to the gauge, what i run right now. no problems. just make sure all your fittings are nice and snug or youre gonna have a HELL of a mess
I just bought one of those gauges too, and I have a question about the install. Can I replace the OEM oil pressure switch or do I need to put a T fitting on it and run both?
