Black w/ Blue Pearl
That's the color me and my cousin have decided to paint my car. It's a 1993 mazda mx-3, I know its not a honda so dont bash me for it. The reason I am posting this here is because mostly everyone on this site has nice paint jobs and seem to know how to take care of them.
So I get my car back on august 10th because I am going to be in Minneapolis until then. That day is cruise night/race night. I wanted to know if it would be good to wax my car right when I get it back from the shop?
What are some good products to use? Is it a good idea to just use a cleaner then wax on wax off, or should I use diff stages wax.
Any tips on keeping my paint new looking, I'm putting it away for the winter and not going on gravel roads etc. obviously. But anything anyone has to offer that would help keep my paint tip top shape would help.
I'll be taking pics of the car that night with my digi and i'll post them here the next day.
this is another mx-3 with black w/ blue pearl (you can't see the pearl very well) basically my car exactly, but diff spoiler (stock GS) and I will have the black steelies on until I get rims.

this is all a myth. you can wax, polish, **** on your car if you want when u get your car back. i dont know were this came from but it is not true. At body shops, they have to cut, wax and buff with 3 days for painting it. theres nothing wrong with waxing your car.

That's fine, I guess it's a matter of opinion. I completely disagree. The 2 shops that I've dealt with when painting my cars inside and out stated, more than once, DO NOT wax your car right away, and personally, I would gamble with my cars finish, especially after dropping all that money.
