the problem is im a lazy bastard. i dont want to run it all the way out to the battery, is there any other way i can do it? i was thinking about the positive and the negative that runs into the ecu. please help me out!!!!

 

how about your cigarette lighter??.. positive is hooked up to there on mine and neg on a ground....

 

NOTE; That will only work if you have the key turned on.

Sometimes you like to know what your battery is doing when the car is off.
