How much power can the Greddy Turbo kit support on a GSR with 9.5:1 comp.?

Can it handle 375WHP without spinning the tubo to death?

According to GReddy, the 18G turbo can support up to 400whp. They stress this again when they were testing the new twin turbo setup, ( 2 18g ) turbo's for the new 350Z setup. So , yeah I think it will support 400hp on a built engine with proper fuel and eng. management.

 

Yea, you try getting 400whp on an 18G with the stock internal wastegate!

 

well the turbo can support 400 hp, no one said anything about the wastegate

 

then how do people that have the 18g's solve the wastegate problem when they start hitting high whp numbers??

 

honestly on a GSR i wouldnt go past 12psi on the 18g and that should get you around 315hp.

if you want more, get a bigger turbo. at some point its like trying to blow a hurricane through a straw.

 

friends teg dynoed 360whp on a greddy kit with a external wastegate though

 

It's not relevant to your question, but my car (stock B18C1/18G) made 224/183 on 7psi running rich (11:1).
