Please Clear this up. I've been searching  does del sol bracket work in EF's
Ok, Now I know you can use the del sol Vtec bracket in the eg's because they all came with stock d series motors (therefore had d series compressors) except for the famous Del Sol Vtec which came with a B series engine but had a D series compressor. So now the obvious question is can you use this bracket with the B16 swap into a crx/civic. If you can't please tell me why you can't. Thanks.
I heard that you can't, that's why Hasport and Place Racing make a bracket for EF compressors....
im sorry guys this is old. Im doing a b16 swap into my CRX. and Ide like to retain my working AC stuff. and if I can use a Del Sol Bracket, ide like to use that.
like said above, Hasport makes one, but did they HAVE to make one? or just made one for the bling? thanks guys.
Ive been searching as well.

I don't know of anything they've made being made for "bling" status LOL
From what i understand, it will give you the correct forward clearance to squeeze that sucker in there just barely. It's just a few bolts, check the fitment of that stock bracket if you've got it. I bet the condenser touches the radiator support.

Probly, I just dont have the bracket on hand.
what I ment by blink status, is that they made it, for people that didnt know about the Del Sol bracket, know what I mean?

Here's what i know:
There are a couple different types of a/c compressors, and they both mount differently. I bought a Hasport braket for my d series compressor to fit my b series, no go! I ended up just making a custom one.
Its true that "only" the DOHC Del Sol model from honda had a oem bracket that mounted a b series compressor to a b series engine, just not sure which one?

Why, like i said Hasport brakets don't fit all compressors. My car has a compressor made by Matsuhita which does NOT work with the Hasport a/c bracket, the bolt pattern is different.
