if its a d series you can take anyone out of a civic or del sol. I have one for a d16z6 motor, but two of the four rubber tabs are broken... If its a b, you can take one out of a del sol vtec coupe or a teggy

i have a del sol that had a b18 in it (before it got stolen) that i bought to build. That bracket is still there, so it would have to be the del sol vtec coupe bracket right? I also have an a/c compressor out of a 94 civic ex that im parting out, so that compressor will work with the b sereis motor with that mount?

To sum it up, with a del sol a/c bracket, you can use the d series a/c compressor with a b series motor?

ok i think i got what hes saying now. The del sol vtec (b series) motor used the d series a/c compressor. Im my case, i probably have a b series a/c mount, which means i could drop the d series compressor and buy a b series compressor, or get a del sol vtec a/c bracket that will let me use my d series compressor with my b series motor.
Is that correct?
If it is, why isnt this mount reccomended for people dropping a b into there civics who want to keep a/c?
So if you use the vtec coupe a/c bracket, you need to use the vtec coupe a/c belt right?
Did the vtec coupe use a b series alternator, or a d series alternator?
hmm... this is interesting

u are confusing the **** out of me

ok listen

the delsol came with a b16 and the ac bracket uses a single cam compressor

now if u want to but a b series bracket from a b18 and use the b series compressor u have to change the lines

and now the vtec coupe ex civic is all single cam **** ok
