Has anyone bought the Black Widow full body kit for the crx. If so how is it put on and how hard is it???

 

No, because it is hideous, but if you are going for the whole deformed insect look I guess it might be for you.

I have NO IDEA what a black widow kit looks like and I don't relly care.

If you know what your doing it shouldn't be hard. However you probably won't get much info here try appearance. Either way get ready for some flames, as most people here are perfomance minded.

 

I agree....the black widow is the most common and ugliest CRX kit. If your gonna nother getting a kit get another one! That's just my opinion, no offence to all you CRX'rz with it. Down with body kits, spend it on your motor!

 

Unfortunitly I've seen it, it is bad!!! I don't mean to be harsh, but yuk. I'd rather watch 380lb trailer park ***** eat each other out than rest my eyes upon a crx that has been moelested with such a degrading kit. The only good kit for the crx is the Wings West kit or the Real Mugen kit which the WW kit is made after. But like the other dude said make it go fast, screw the kit. I only have a WW kit because I bought my car from a slavage yard and it needed a front bumper and had dents on the bottom of the doors. If that is what you really want go for it, but I think later on you'll realize the merits of a faster car out weight the merits of riding around in an insect on wheels. Just trying to help you make the right choice, and there won't be many nice CRX's around if people keep putting the Deformed Insect Kits on them. Just my $.02, take it as you may.

How can you say that the black widow is the most common??!! For one it hasnt been out too long and second its expensive when it first came out it was over 3 grand you show me all these people that have them??!!

*EDIT* Oh and IMO the kit isnt that bad it looks better on an angle though rather than straight on. But if you want any kind of performance dont go with that kit its going to add a lot of wieght to your car. Oh and labor on it was something like 60 hours or something to get it installed I forgot what they told me.

 

What the heck r u thinkin? The kit has been out for like 3 or 4 months and u can just now find it under $2500. Like he said i wanna see all these ppl with the kit! Maybe your thinkin of a different one! go to http://www.grounddesigns2000.com and look at the black widow.

 

hmmmm 2500? yeah then try at least another 1000 for paint and new rims because its a wide body kit and your car will look like a matchbox car. Then of course park it cause after spending all that on a body kit you won't wanna drive it.

 

For all you foolz that are "trying" to talk **** maybe the black widow is rare in the middle of butt ******* nowhere. But I can pretty much drive into ****** San Pablo or Richmond and be sure to see atleast one of those ugly kits on a primered POS crx with the kit no even painted everytime! Maybe the black widow 2 has been out for three months but the old blackwidow kit (bumper, sides, rear bumper) is everywhere. Besides wide body?! Come on, I WAS trying to be nice, but now **** RICE! ALL GO **** SHOW!

OK we are the foolz cause you have no idea what kit we are talking about??!! OK this kit you CAN NOT but just the bumper or anything else for that matter it comes as a kit its COMPLETELY different than the old black widow kit so before you start talking **** know what your talking about. So NO you wont see this kit everywhere!!

I know exactly what kit your talking about...I was talking about the old black widow crap that is all over the place..but this talking **** online is pointless...It's truely not worth the aggravation and I'll never get the satisfaction of beating someones ***. I was voicing my opinion and people gotta get in my ****, in my opinion kits are pointless they cost too much and break too easy. As much as I agree with you I also have to say that sometimes when people give the wrong info and you correct them they trend to get mad and decide to flame you for it. Some people just need to know what they are talking about before they start talking ****.

Can we please ask the mods to enact this as a rule and strictly enforce it as well. Trash talking and negative comments seem to dominate this forum however, more so than any of the others for some reason.

if you really want to sink $2500 into a body kit check out the kits from australia....some of them are veriations of the mugen/ww/erebuni kits that have a more wild styling to them but are still good looking.

 

That video is funny as **** meng!!!! Really though I myself never said that the Black Tarantula Scorpion King Wasp Fighter XXVII kit was everywhere I just said it was nasty. Too be honest with you I've never seen one. Thanks for posting a link to pctures of it, now I need to clean my shirt , my carpet and had to find my back up keyboard in my garage because I puked all over the ******* place. WTF are you thinking I was just talking **** about it, because from past experience all kits I've ever seen besides of course the WW and Mugen make the CRX look like a deformed insect. That is by far the worst thing I've ever ******* seen. The Cyber Australian kit isn't too bad, but very expencive, and I personaly don't care too much for it, but I will not be obligated to throw cinder blocks through your windows if you have a Cyber kit. Put your money under the hood man, don't ruin a good CRX. If you insist upon such a horific deed, give me $2000 and 15gallons of Dura Glass and I can make your **** just as gay and deformed insect like. With the extra $500 you could buy a fully motorized carbon fiber tripple decker mega downforce yo JDM hyper flux capacitor charged indy car wing and your **** will have mad skillz yo. You'll pick up all the bitches at the local drug rehab facility. People that do **** like that deserve to be crucified. **** IRAQ we need to drop a NUKE on GROUND DESIGNS 2000, for making this ****. We need to secretly evacuate all the cool people in LA and Nuke the rest. personally,,, i dont care much for big ricey body kits,, i dont necciserily go for the extremely modest wings west either, altho that's probably what i'll wind up getting, but i like the new black widow kit.... its huge, and i'm sure the front bumper and hood look humungous,, but it just seems to go together well,, i really like the back end where it lips up the rear deck in a body line with the rear quarter panels..... rice or not, i think the kit is sweet, , although pricey for me... all you flamers need to calm down and just give advice and opinions,, ,not put down every newbie that comes along.....

 

 

dude... who cares what these guys think .. its your car not theirs. .. ive never installed a kit before but if you know how to work with fiberglass it should be cake.
