Default PIC REQUEST: White 98+ Tegs with CF hood

Did a search, found a few pictures but would love to see a thread..

I just got a 99 GSR and I love the way the black CF hood looks on white but I don't want to start being classified as a racer because of it so I want to make sure it looks clean, can anyone post pics? Thanks!

agreed. my friend has a white 98 gs with a cf hood, it looks really nice. black and white is a classic combo. of course its going to stand out, because black and white are opposites (duh), so it will attract more attention to your car.

I still don't know if I like CF hoods on DC2's unless it's a black car.

It just looks funny to me, since the hood doesn't reach close to the edge of the bumper, kind of like it's set back a little, and doesn't allow for a smooth transition of colors, whereas a hatch, the hood bends down towards the bumper more...I dunno, just being weird.

DOPE car none the less Rodrez, that's your room mate's right???

Yeah, that's HT user Manyfaces car. He's considering throwing his stock hood back on, getting kinda bored of it I think.

c/f hoods are performance either way. its weight reduction, and if you dont like how it looks, get it painted.

Whoaa, I say keep the stock hood. If you are going to get the CF and paint it white so that you can have a lieghter hood then its all good. But I like the way a matched hood looks. Just my own opinion.
