Sweet new accessory for the Type-R (56k beware)...
2 RR's?! Yep, finally made a jump to the acclaimed 600RR. It's the sweetest bike...handles incredibly...and the smile hasn't left my face since the day I bought it.
PS: No, I haven't sold the R, and don't have any plans to...this is the brother to the R. (Which is why I decided on black)

nice bike, I wish i could get one, but Moms would kick me out and id prolly kill myself on it, btw does your *** get hot from the exhaust like that??
doesn't get hot at all...there is an undshield to protect from heat...
As I said it's a great addition to the R. Looking for some track days coming up soon, but I need to buy a little more gear first (new leathers).

Well if you don't mind crashing an 8000 dollar bike a few times then yeah, it's a great bike to start on. Seriously though people have started on much bigger and heavier bikes, but I wouldn't recommend starting on a 600RR, that thing is DAMN quick. I didn't trust myself to start on something that nice, which is why I'm driving my POS EX500...but hell I've crashed it twice already and I'm quite glad I crashed a 2000 bike rather than an 8000 bike.

I would have to agree...I would NOT start with the 600RR. Not so much for the speed, but more because of the comfort level and because of the limited room. Yes it seems that the bike is small, but it is actually heavier than the 636 6R and the Yahmaha R6. The bike will outhandle them both though, and I plan on racing it sometime this year or next. Tthe GSX looks saweeeet by the way, and the 1000 is MUCH faster.
Nice bike!
Anyone here for a meet near the NC area?!

go ask this question to GeorgiaJDM over in the motorcycle forum
read these, and you'll understand why (yes it has to do with a newbie starting on a 600rr):
