i have a 2000 civic si with wilwood front 12" big brake kit and fastbrakes 11" rear..
it seems that the fronts are doing 80% of the work and the rest on the rear.
the front brakes start to squel after 5 min of street driving..
wilwood also included a proprtioning valve..
does anyone know how it hooks up?
will that solve my problem?
any help is greatly appreciated...thanks

Well, I have the Wilwoods on my DA, and the squeeling has nothing to do with the brake balance and everything to do the pads. The pads that come with the kit are Polymatrix "D" compound, which are pretty much metallic semi race pads.
I notice that mine only squeak when the brakes are warm. Never when they are cold or very hot. Guess that's what happens when you put race car parts on a Honda. You can try the "Q" compund when these pads wear out. I've heard they are a bit more streetable. It's HIGHLY unlikely that you will ever reach the limits of the Wilwoods. Hell, I never really reached the limits of the stock brakes...
As for the proportioning valve (I didn't get one
), forget about it. I imagine it's a universal piece, like most of Wilwoods products, and would be an absolute bitch to install. Not worth it. The Civic Si valve is 40/40 if I'm not mistaken, and can take anything you throw at it. Sell it to a Mustang guy.
