Default power windows

i have a 96 accord sedan DX...im trying to get some power windows and locks....does anyone know if this is possible?, and if so...how much do they cost and how much trouble are they to install, etc...thanks ahead of time.

Unless you want to add more confusion to your name I wouldn't think about accomplishing your task.. It it would be a very involved job and the more I think about it the more it makes my head spin thinking about all the changes you would have to make.. It would be easier purchasing a different car..

Manual Windows and Locks aren't all that bad, Just think about it, you'll never have an electrical problem involving your locks or windows, which can be quite common on these older Accords.. You just might end up saving alot of headache and $$ in the long run..

but its so inconvenient to go through all that manual labor just to open a damn window.... ... i heard that all i need is a motor and buttons and thought that it would be tight to get power windows and locks...was i given wrong info? i just wanted some technical info regarding the process...

I dont think you were given wrong info...just not enough..

you would need buttons and motors, plus these motors ( window & door lock) would need to change "polarity" on the fly, window and door lock regulators/actuators, wiring harnesses, cabin harnesses which involve ripping the dash out.. of course you could run your own wires, about 6 to each door, independent switches... i say independent because unless you have a Master's in Solid State Electronics theory , you would have to control each function with their own switch.. that would be 16 toggles located somewhere on your dash! : )

DAMN!!!!! now isnt that some shizzle...thanks for the invigorating information about power windows...i guess ill just start working my arms out a lot more..
