HEY! all of you with cam gears!
ok... this is for all the TURBOCHARGED LS/GSR owners out there...
im not exactly sure if it makes a difference in tuning with cam gears and stock cams if you turbo your LS or GSR...
but i was wonderin if you all could list your tuning specs on the cam gears.
what exhaust and intake timing did you adjust on your cam gears? i want to see if its pretty similar to everyones. and let us know if you dyno'd your car and the results.
i noticed most people retard the exhaust -1 but have different intake advances.
thanks for the input.

Many have asked this question before, very few have found an answer. For some reason people with adjustable sprockets guard their settings with their lives; I've seen at least a dozen polls like this one and everyone refuses to post their settings. Just to warn you.
every car is differnet and one guys setting can be totally wrong for you car. You really need a dyno if you want to play with these things

Start at zero degrees on both gears and work toward the direction of lowering the overlap of the two cams. Usually works with turbos with longer duration cams.
my car has itr cams and made 19whp by retating exhaust 4 degrees and advancing intake 2 degrees.we only made three adjustments and quit.we could have made more but the car was running out of fuel.
