Default opinions needed: ATS carbon vs Tilton single kit

i know this is big baller chit and probably not too many people are running these but my current research has led me down to these two options. prices aside, does anyone have experience with either? which would you choose and why?

i almost just want to go with the ATS right away but after talking to yasu last night i'm not so sure as my next year setup will be pushing the limits of the ATS unit (300hp at the crank) so the tilton has come back into the picture.

comments appreciated

with that much power; you might want to look into the tilton twin kit.

not trying to talk trash about ats carbon clutch, but recently we destoryed one and almost screw an engine up(still some damages) on the dyno(at 200 hp).

thanks for everyone's input so far.

i havent thought of exedy, hell i didnt even know they had a super single but i assume its about the same as a cusco one, and if i'm gonna compare cusco/os giken vs. exedy IMO its cusco all the way; problem is a) i dunno if i want to deal with that heavy pedal feel, and b) i cant really wait a long time for something like those IE i dont want to pay insane money to air ship that chit over from japan!!

after talking to a few other guys that has used the ATS carbon clutch i think i'm gonna go ahead and try that out first. probably the best setup for what i have now, and hopefully will hold up to next year's beast. and if it doesnt i can always pawn it off and go to the tilton twin maybe by then i'll be big baller and hit up the tilton carbon/carbon

next year's motor is a secret, you just have to wait n see

I have the ATS Carbon Setup. The build quality is incredible and you can't beat the price considering it comes with a balanced flywheel. I will post results when my motor is running. . . soon.

I reccomend the tilton. I am running just under 350whp at the moment and the tilton puts all the power down, and yet engages as smooth as the stock clutch.

It wont matter. Leo will burn the clutch out anyways.

again, i am not bad mouth ats, but i can't really stand behind a carbon disc and steel pressure plate/flywheel cambo. if you insist to use carbon clutch, tilton is the top choice.

I wouldn't call it close to stock in terms of pedal feel. It's at least 50% stiffer. That or my clutches are 50% softer than stock

The short pedal travel is pimp though. Much jealously.

My Tilton single does not "feel" 50% stiffer than stock. Feels really close to stock. The only problem I have is getting used to the noise
