Odometer stopped working; ideas on how to fix?
Not sure what happened but it stopped working; I am talking about the one that records overall miles; not the trip miles.
Where does the power for this come in? How hard is it to take apart the gauge cluster and trace the power source to see what is going on?
Also, are the miles of the car recorded anywhere else? I know may sound stupid to some, but I'd like to keep track of the miles I drive.

Is your car still under warranty? If it is, let the dealership replace/repair it giving you didn't modify the instrument panel.
Not sure if our Integra's are able to record mileage by any other means. Maybe the ecu can. I had a conversation with one of the Acura dealership technicians when I had the cylinder head replaced. He said whenever the ecu "throws a code" (im guessing the check engine light), the ecu takes a "snapshot" information such as engine speed. Maybe it records mileage when it takes a "snapshot".
