Default Help me go fast

Well I have looked at about everything I can to try to make my Del sol si go faster and now I will turn here. I have the CAI, and exhaust a few other things for apperence. 17" Rims
But I like everyone else is looking for speed. I want a step by step on what I can add to my engine to go faster more horse power. I have a friend who has a wrx and he is completely smoking me right now and its pissing me off. Help me just to keep up.
Or if ever to beet him
Thanks for the help

get a turbo. i would save around 15k for a good and reliable system (also includes work if you're not too familiar with instalation)

How much money do you want to spend? Just a little, you're only shot is nitrous. If you are willing to spend more, I'd think about an engine swap and/or turbo.

greddy is 50 state legal, get rid of the big 17" rims, lighten your car, if you have the money then get a swap or turbo. if you have around 500 get a nos

not in any particular order

1) get some 13's with drag radials
2) gut the interior
3) d16a1 pistons
4) y8 intake manifold
5) cam (pick one. they all vary but a hp or two, not worth fretting over imo)
6) lsd
7) hybrid tranny (zc 3rd and 4th) or get the 4.7 or 4.9 fd
8) instead of the na engine stuff, do a turbo and hondata setup
9) most importantly, learn to drive it right.

fwiw, anybody can spend more money then you and go faster. seems like a pointless battle to me. pick an et goal and work towards that, not beating someone else. (unless you have more money then them)
