most of the time, i think of going faster, but yesterday after getting my brakes completed(ss lines and fluid), i have an ear to ear grin when i step on the brakes! i have aem rotors, poterfield brake pads, goodridge braided brake lines & motul 600 fluid. i'm now looking forward to getting my new volk rims with dunlop sp9000 tires. should be better than my yokohoma avs-i's and improve stopping even more.

You don't like the AVS-i?? I love them on my car, not to much slower than my race tires on the tracks... If you REALLY wanna feel some braking, put some R compound tires on!!

 

no, no...i love them. i've been a loyal AVS-I customer dating back to '89. the reason is that i'm getting new rims and tires and the AVS-I's are discontinued. i do find however that the I's are not as quiet as i'd like. besides that, i love them. i'm just assuming that the sp9000's will have a little more grip, which couldn't be a bad thing, right?.
