That will get you started. Do some searching on sounddomain.com and you will find lots of walkthroughs and info that should get you started on the basics. If you have more specific questions, fire away and I'd be happy to help you out.

Here's another good article. It deals with constructing fiberglass panels but the concepts can be applied to sub enclosures.

Select Products also sells instructional videos that you might want to check out.

You _probably_ want random mat. Buy a couple yards of woven cloth also though so you can see if you like that better. I know for most stuff, I do. Since you're a beginner, I would start with a polyester resin for the matrix. US Composites has good pricing.

I make molds with two part expanding urethane foam. I mix it, let it expand, and then sand away what I don't want. So far, that's been the fastest way for me to make a mold.

You should buy Rutan's book and read it. It's for aircraft, but it's the same principals. You should also buy Forbes Aird's book. If you decide to bag, the West Systems book(pamplet) is really the best I've seen so far.

I made a frame out of 1 inch pressboard now I have to go get some fleece to wrap on it. then I just start laying the cloth and putting the resin on it right

you coat the fleece in resin first, make sure it's completely soaked - and it will eat a ton of resin. Then let it cure fully, then add mat to the outside. Typically it's easier to wet out the fabric ('glass mat or cloth) before you try to apply it.

I agree that it is easier to wet out the fabric first. You can also better control resin distribution.

I also like to coat the mold with resin first. It acts as a cheap unpigmented get coat.
