Currently I have the N1 exhaust. I am going turbo this week, and Im wondering how many of you are running the N1 exhaust with turbo, I believe the piping is only 2.36" or somewhere around that. I really don't want to buy another exhaust because mine is only a couple months old, but am I going to be losing alot of HP by not going to the 3"?

I too have an N1 I plan on running with boost on my GSR..

 

I ran the 60 mm A'PEXi piping while boosted, and it killed my horsepower pretty well. That along with my stock cat made for some low hp numbers.

 

Id sell it and go 3". I recieved my apex n1 3" yesterday, its being mated with mkteller8's piping. You should be able to sell your n1 fairly easy. You might want to explore that option.

 

how much HP are you pushing? 250whp and down you'll be fine....300ish and you'll need a 3"....spool up time has many factors besides an exhaust...like your manifold.....run the N1 on the street....and take that sucker off at the track....3" exhausts will drill you in your head....it's sound is definately lower, yeah, but hell of alot louder......
