I have heard that when you get a new (SIR 1) B16 you should get: water pump, timing belt, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, clutch, and tensioner pulley. What do you guys think? Should I go with oem honda or aftermarket stuff? What car should this stuff be for, since I can't say to the honda dealer that I have a jdm sir1 b16a. Please Help!

 

You can get Honda OEM stuff. From the B16A3 (94-94 del Sol VTEC) or the 99-00 Si (B16A2).

i replaced cap, rotor, plugs and wires.

Later on when i did my cams i replaced timing belt


replace what you can afford. I would say atleast the timing belt
