BIG DILLEMA. Should I sell, or finish modifying? (pictures inside)
I have a civic that I have modified a little. When I bought it, I had intended to modify the car completely. It's very clean, and would be a perfect car to continue modifying, but I got bitten by the motorcycle bug, and decided to sell the car instead and buy a bike. I was intending to sell it, but now the more I think about it, the more I think maybe I should keep it and finish modifying it. What would you guys do? I can always close the ebay auction before it ends, if I decide to keep the car, but not sure now. What do you guys think? Heres a few pics of what it looks like now.

I took the MSF course, and I had so much fun on a bike...I had my mind up on selling the car and getting a bike asap. But I'm trying to decide now if that is logical decision or not. Not sure
If you have another car to get around then i would say get the bike, but if you dont i would think itll be a hassle when you need to pick up large items or more then one other person. Picking another person would also be pretty hard even if your bike has a second seat. Just throwing out ideas......
Good topic decision but in reality you need to go with what your gut really wants. If you like the car, why don't you keep it the way it is for days when it's not favorable to ride? Bikes KICK ***, but so do Civics, so do what your instincts tell you.

If you have another car then you're str8. Sell the car and get yourself a Suzuki GSXR 1000. It'll run right next to the hayabusa and it can actually take a curve. The hayabusa is the non handling muscle car V8s of the motorcycle family. The 1000 is like a hybrid hatch, it will run and handle.
modding?
it's a d16y7, don't put any more money into that engine, intake is the only reasonable thing to do.
Are those headers?!?!?!
swap, boost, or motorcycle
edit: if you choose boost, swap the y7 head with a y8. you can boost a y7 but a y8 will be better

I don't have another car, I just have the civic. The civic is paid off though, and I am into it already for $7200. The car is on ebay right now with no reserve, its at $5200 with 5 days left. I think thats too cheap considering what I am into it, so thats making my decision harder as well. I am thinking about maybe selling the civic, and with the money, buying a bike and a cheap civic, so I can have 4 wheel in case I need it. But if I do that, I won't have a whole lot left for a bike. I would have prolly 2 grand for the car, and 3-4 grand for the bike, depending on what the civic ends up at on ebay.
ok, someone messaged me and asked for auction link, but I can't find them in my icq now as my icq list is too big and it keeps crashing. Whoever it was, could you contact me again at icq: 127058515
In case you check this post, auction link is: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...98270

On straightaways, YES, but the 2003 GXR is supposed to be hands down the ULTIMATE sposts bike out there. Of course, I don't think I can afford the 2003 model. I would have to be looking for a used one, unless I want to get a loan, which I don't know if I do or not.
I say keep the car. Don't mod it at all and save for the bike. Having a paid off car kicks butt, don't change that. If you are smart you will save up some cash buy a cheap bike to learn on then move up. Don't go out and buy A GSXR1000 if you have never driven a bike before, or you will end up dead. Since you already have a paid off car after you learn to ride you would be able to finance a bike, they aren't that much. Unless you go for a super bike...then it is a different story. Hope that helps.
If you really want to get a bike don't get anything bigger than a 600 or else say hello to Darwin for me. Also Don't get a new bike because you will end up laying it down sooner or later.
You know there is a motorcycle forum on H-T.

Yeah I use to sell bikes and all I can tell you is make sure you check on insurance before you get anything over a 600 and you might want to check on that before you get it you wouldnt believe some of the quotes people get if they get any coverage. Also Ive rode all of them well execpt Kawasaki never sold them and IMO a 600 has more than enough power.
i say keep the civ. and save for the bike. from what ive heard it sucks just having a bike(rain, pickin up peeps, and groceries). i hope youre a big guy cuz if youre talkin bout goin canyon ridin with a busa good luck...go GXR

Bikes are awsome. I know. Had an 02 R1. Kicked ***. I sold my pride and joy, a 92 HB with all the trimmings, to go out and pay cash for the bike. Bought it brand new in July of 02. Just sold it last month to start my latset project. The bike was fun, just ended up being too much of a hassel. Hot, Cold, no one to ride with, friends going down, Cops following you, People not seeing you and cutting you off, ect......... Later on down the road I'll get another one, but I'll never sell my car to do it. Learned my first time around.
