i have a 2000 si with a dc header, aem cold air, cam gears, fuel regulator, and greddy exhaust. the exterior is stock except a wings west urethene front bumper and neuspeed springs. my question is in your opinion what would you concentrate on looks ie. body kit, fenders, paint, hood, or motor ie. cams, and turbos? i just need help deciding which i want to do first.

it really depends on if you want to go fast or you want to go show looks i would drop some cams up in her. and then work on the bodykit.
it just a stock dx

cams, lighter hood(carbon fiber), maybe some discrete gauges, do you have stock shocks? I would get some new ones since you already have springs. also camber kit if you need it. i wouldn't put a body kit, or paint it unless you need it or hate your color. how is the stock SI clutch? if it's like the EX (weak) I'd get a new one.

Motor, si's already look nice just get some nice rims and a carbon fiber hood!!

 

Sell the urethane bumper and go back to stock, and use the $ to buy something to make your car faster! Rick

 

There are threads all over talking about "the best clutch" and everyone has different opinions. I don't have an opinion becuase I don't have an aftermarket clutch but I'm looking into one.

 

motor . sell your header and use that money towards FI.

Depends, if you wanna look good getting smoked, or be the one doing the smoking

 

speed first then you'll be able to back up the looks when you go that route if thats your thing. For a little of both get a carbon fiber hood it will make your car just that much faster.

Yeah, I think I would be focusing on motor too, since your car already look good.

 

Get some struts(shocks) and lose that front bumper and then concentrate on the engine.

i find that a nice drop and rims look nice. then its all motor work from there.

 

Do whichever interests you the most, rather than what others think.
