Heat it up with a hair dryer so the wax melts again, the wipe it off.

If you ahve ever felt a vlave cover after driving the car for a while, they get very hot, so heat doesnt really bother them.

Damn buddy, secure with yourself?

Anyway, it's just wax, scrape it off... Works on skin, should work on valvecovers...

Don't worry about it. When you put it on your car, the heat will make the wax evaporate... or fluid enough for you to wipe it off.

if all else fails, i used to work at a body shop, and we had some stuff called "wax and grease remover" that didn't affect paint. it will work perfectly. BTW- thats pretty funny that your girl was kinda afraid to tell you that you had "a situation" ha ha ha ha ha. it's a damn valve cover, you know? sure it's nice, but to a "normal" person (non-car guy), they wouldn't even think twice about it. ha ha, oh well, good luck
