Default Drop-in question

This might sound like a stupid quetsion. my 98' coupe doesn't have an engine. I asked in an eairlier post what was the best engine for it. but i'd like to try something different. is it possible to drop in one of the V-6 Accord engines? no searches, please. and what would I need if it were possible? I'd like to try this the Accord V-6 puts out more HP. any answers?

The V6 Accord engine is not a good idea. It'd be easier to swap in a K-series.

whats wrong with dropping it in though? would I probably end up with big tech problems? this also might sound *** HOLE like but do K series come in V-6?

I have no idea if the V6 would even fit, much less what the wiring would be like.

K-series engines are the 4 cyl. found in the new RSX and Civic Si, also in the new Accord and CRV.

try a prelude h22 motor. cheap, fast, and a little more work to just drop in.

You're asking about a 10k+ v6 engine not to mention 5k MINIMUM fab work to get it in and 7k is out of your budget...

you may want to go with an h22 or a b18... have you looked into swaps at all?

for me there is nothing to swap. I bought my 98' as a theft recovory. No engine tailghts, and radio/stereo system
From the beginning I guess I'll just stay w/ the B18C- Good For turbo.

fyi... whether or not you're taking out a motor the one you put in is refered to as a "swap"... since it's not the stock engine... it's an engine swap.

yeah if you have a budget ceiling under 10k I'd stay WAY clear of k series much less a v6.
