Default crank ?'s

ok as most of you know, i spun a bearing in my GSR motor, i might be getting ITR pistons, while my motor is apart. but i need a new crank. ive heard rumors of an LS crank bumping compression slightly. if i buy the ITR pistons will i be able to run the LS crank? should i just stick w/ a GSR crank?
