Hi, guys, I bought this JDM cluster off EBay a while ago. And the guy said that it's from an 88-89 civic with ZC engine. The thing is that when I compare it to my stock cluster it's somewhat bigger, and it looks more like a 90-91 cluster. I haven't tried to put it in yet. But can someone tell me exactly which model civic or CRX this is from?

links no workie. if the cluster has rounded edges then it is 90-91, if it's more squared then it's 88-89

and that looks like a 90-91 cluster to me

 

doesnt look like a jdm cluster to me... maybe its my eyes...

I dont think its USDM, because the redline is 7000RPM instead of the usual 6500RPM. Although I dont really know a whole lot about clusters either, so I could be wrong. although that would make sense if it were the ZC cluster.

 

90-91 JDM EF ZC cluster

 

It is a JDM cluster the speedometer reads in KM/H not miles, and the redline is at 7K

 

Hmm, the ZC redline is supposedly 7200...maybe the auto ZCs = 7000? Kinda like how the auto b16's are lower....interesting...

i think the ZC was either EF7, or maybe 6. i dont' remember.

You are correct. This is the cluster that my brother had in his ZC powered 89 JDM EF7 Civic.
