A couple of days ago my o2 sensor blew out of the bung of my downpipe and dragged along the ground, basically scrapping the o2 sensor so for about a day I had to limp around w/ the o2 sensor hanging in my engine bay. I got another one from (i believe) a d series motor, and re-installed it. Now my car stutters a tad bit around 2 to 3 grand. I'm not sure if it is because my plugs are super rich and possibly fouled them out while not having the o2 sensor in, or the o2 sensor is bad. Also, is it bad if you don't have the o2 sensor in the exhaust stream while boosting??

 

the bouncing on the ground killed it. time for a new one. thats why the manual says don't hit it with a hammer to remove. or something like that.

 

But the thing is, I replaced it with another o2 sensor from a d series (i believe) motor. Think its my plugs?

 

it wouldnt hurt to check the plugs.
