Front motor mount on a d16z6 same as 90 honda civic?
the z6 has different mounts than a 90 civic,
If you are putting a z6 in to an EF 88-91 civic with a cable tranny, you need to
1. use rear transmission mount from EF
2. use passenger side transmission mount from EF
3. use front transmission mount from EF
4. use EF timing belt mount. you will need the mount and the metal peice that is bolted to the block. swap both pieces the the Z6 or it will sit crooked. (even with this it isnt "perfect" but it is close enough to work)
as for the front driver side mount on the Z6 (the one that holds the AC compressor) the EF's dont use that mount at all, same on the tranny side also. take a look at some of the pics in the EF forum and you will see what i am talkign baout, good luck.
