Coolant hoses popping off!!
In the last week Ive had 2 separate coolant hoses pop off. One was on the intake manifold, and yesterday the one to the block popped off. Now it wouldn't be that big of a deal...except that it happens while im driving
Both had the pinch style clamps, and they are circa 1991. Could it be that these clamps are just old and have lost their clamping ability? Could it be that the hoses are a little worn, and aren't fitting snug like they should?
Anyone else ever run into this at all?

how hard is it to get the hose back on the fitting/pipe?
one thing to try is to bleed your coolant. maybe you have air in the line??? if you have an a6, i am pretty sure there is a bleeder screw that you can use.

Im going to purge the system when I get a chance...along with replace the pinch clamps with the screw type clamps. Im hoping that will help.
Thanks for the info/idea though Keith
