Default The 'Super Beater' is ALIVE!!!

well...it's official, the 'Super Beater' is alive...much thanks to burp, Tan, allmota, cousin Rudy, Blue, Beto and the man of the hour, Jerry, the race car driver. I don't know if you guys can read this but my heart felt thanks to all your hard work, sweat, tears, support and humor. It made the long road trip to this day quite an experience. All that's left is tuning, exhaust piping, cross member upgrade, new header, tranny seal replacement (again...bought the wrong seals for the tranny...my bad guys), new air filter, suspension upgrade and LCA install, clean her up and vacuum the inside....**** this list is getting long... bummer. At least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks much to Jerry and his crew. If any of you guys are thinking about getting a motor built (in socal), Jerry's the man! here's a drink for you Jerry oh wait...you don't drink... well, just imagine it's a Rock Star

JEEEEESAAAAAAAASSSSS!!!!!!! Almost forgot those guys from Pro-Street Imports...Eugene, Skinhead Mike and Shea...guys, I don't know if you guys can read this but thanks for your support and the tranny work you did for the 'Super Beater' aka Grand Ma...she appreciates all your hard work and effort into her...and to Mike, I think I'm gonna have to run AC on her...it was hella hot today... Guys, lemme know if the Ref is running dry...I'll be over with a 36 pack any day...

Jerry Built and Pro-Street Imports

Last but not least, ImportBuilders...I know you've been banned from here Jeff but I hope you tune my car before you close down. If you can read this, put on a lot of sunblock...don't want you coming home burnt

Dude...from the pics..you look like you got a killer sleeper on your hands...put some skis on the rack and it will add to the deception..looks clean!

That school in the background looks like a school in La Puente....near the Puente hills mall....I could be wrong....

well...i took her home today...first thing i noticed is that, she's too high...feels like an aircraft carrier dropping her on my Teins this coming weekend. i'm putting in the place racing cross member at the same time. i'm gonna try to put as many miles as i can on her this week...she's going on the dyno probably fri or sat depending on schedule. there is still a leak coming from the same damn side of the tranny...2 seals, 2 leaks = ghey i'm gonna have Pro-street check her out tomorrow if possible so i hope this works out...

Axle seals are godamn annoying.....you cant push them in too far when you get the new ones....also bring a old one with you to get an exact match.....Federal Mogul seals are just as good as Hondas.

tell me about it....it's a biatch...i'm gonna have another shop take a look at it and see what's up...
OEM seals were cheap too...like $5.00 - $6.00 a piece...it's the down time that i'm pissed off about...
