Default b18b swap

I am planning on swaping my motor in my crx with a b18b...where can I get one? Can you also give me step by step instructions on installing it?

Be a little more vague, please .

Do you have any experience doing this sort of thing? I mean, are you comfy ripping apart your car and wiring?

Surprisingly, I don't have any info on this swap, but I'd love to hear about it if you find any....

Wow your new.

I would not jump into this swap or any swap right away. B18B is easier because of no vtec. Poke around the net, see what people say. If you need help email me.

I would advise getting a b18a swap since it is cable tranny type and will have the ecu you need. If you use the b18b you will need the b18a tranny and ecu. Also you'd need to install your coolant temp switch from your crx motor on the b18b block since the b18b one is on the t-stat housing. The only advantage the b18b has is that it supposedly has a better head but w/ everyone doing crv/vtecs there are plenty of those heads going around at a cheap price and they are supposedly even better than b18b heads. All in all the swap is pretty straight forward as long as you don't have a dx if you do the wiring is a pain.

I am doing a b18b swap as well, I already started to buy the stuff, and mounts, while not having the crx yet.

I got a 93 LS, right now it's at the machine sho, should get me into the 12-13's with NOS.

So far I got the 92-93 Ecu, 92-93 Harness Motor, I am going to run a JDM b16 y1 Cable tranny.

I already got the mounts for $389.00 I am also lookin for info on this.

I can do swaps and stuff, but would like to learn on the wiring, the wiring my boy is doin it for me.

He has done plenty of swaps.

Why not just use your crx engine harness and find a 90-91 ls ecu. That way if you have a si or hf crx there will be no wiring at all.
