how much is my stock airbox hurting me

I really like the clean look of my stock airbox in my 89 civic hatch.

I have a b16 with 00 ITR cams, ITR intake manifold and JG 65mm throttlebody.

how much power do you think my stock airbox with a K&N drop in filter is robbing me.

what intake do you suggest?

Probably not much if you gut it and leave the K&N in there.

Leave the stock airbox (I agree it looks cleaner and on an NA motor it's all I will run), there might be a lil difference in flow but the real thing that robs you of power is heat... As long as your motor is getting a nice cool charge (atleast not directly off your radiator fan) you'll be fine... We've gotten 1whp before with my friend's CRVTEC on the dyno running a filter (shitty fake K&N paper kind) and then running with no filter... That's no big deal in my book... Just my $0.02... Latez
