rain to to a big puddle of water...help
hey guys i have a 92 civic hb with an ls swap with the jdm gsr tranny, a couple days ago i drove in to a big *** puddle ofwater and shut off...it started up again but then it dosnt get in to any gears, i dont think its the clutch becasue i replaced it about 2 weeks ago. can you guys help me figure out what the problum is? any thing would be nice, thanks.
thats really weird, maybe the shock of hitting the water knocked the control arm off its correct point causing it to not ba able to get into gear. was it a big jolt or was it jsut a smooth drive through a puddle?
do you have the metal peice that goes on at the bottom of the tranny and shuts off the space between the tranny and the block cause if not your clutch is soaking wet ?
i think the clutch is wet..but i donno, i was going probly 15mph casue it was rainning hard and it was down a hill and at the end of hte hill was flooded becasue all the water wasnt able to go down the sewers, so i went throgh the water pretty smothly, the only thing that fell of my car is my front lip...i ran ova it...grrr..and broke in like 5 peicese...but im not too worried about that just worriyed about getting in to gear, could water go throgh the inspection plate below the tranny?
