Default rick's pulley install probs. can anyone help.

sup guys, well a friend brought over his S2K today and he had some pulleys. we ran into a slight prob. the one pulley, dont even know what it is called. (not the alt, tensionor, or water pump pulley, the one right above the crank, its smooth.) ill call it the smooth pulley.

anyways, the smooth pulley slipped on, but it would get caught on one of the bolts that were behind it. does anyone know what has to be done for it to fit.

that's the idler pulley or I think it is, you can't get on? Did you follow the instructions and have it faced the right way?

he bought the pulleys from a private party, not from a dealer. they didnt come with instructions. i pretty much matched up the pulleys. the fronts of the stock and the ricks looked the same, and the rears also. next time he comes by, i will try to install them "backwards" just to see if that is the right way.
