H22 punched to 2.5?
You can sleeve it, actually you have to if you put forged pistons in it. The stock cylinders are either made of or coated with nikasil (sp?) to extend life.

Yes thats what I heard. I was planing on sleeving it anyways. Any one know of any good hp #'s with NA 2.5's or 2.6 H22's? With headwork, cams etc, etc.

You're best bet is to bored it put to the max specs which is 89mm, just remember what type of fuel your going to be playing with rod ratio could stay stock unless you get a stroker kit....rods, crank and piston has to be changed.
A friend of mine has a 2.6 h22a in a 92 accord, R & D did the assembly, but before he got to tune it or run it, it blew up, twice. Not that the stroking is a bad idea, he belives it was the way the motor was assembled. He has a 93 H22a block (which is solid deck so its a little stronger), headwork, big cams (web) and all the damn bolt on's you can think of. Before the stroke he was running 14.1 at 3300 ft above sea level. So we are all eagerly awaiting the re-assembly of the 2.6, which he is building now. If you want to pick his brain about the setup, go to his teams website www.collectiveracing.net and register on the web board (it just recently crashed so there arent many posts in there right now) he's always happy to answer questions. Oh and look for his car in the Dec. SCC.
