check your axles and see if you had one let go. jack the car up put it on stands. with the car in gear see if you can turn a tire freely. If you can turn one easily you probably have a bad shaft. also once shafts start getting bad and are continued to be driven on sometimes they will pop outta the trans. a little checking under tha car will answer all your questions

i jacked up the car and took the tire off of the bad side, i held the shaft and turned the wheel and the axel turns all the way in to the tranny.

If the axle is outta the tranny the car will feel like its in neutral and will not put any power to the ground. Check and make sure its still snug and in the tranny. Check both sides, because axles are weird, if you turn right and you hear the axle noise, then its your LEFT axle thats bad, and vice versa, or it oculd be both, but check both and double check. More likely than not its an axle problem.

You say they're in snug... If you can pull one out without doing any twisting, then its not in there. You have to twist the axle in to get it to stay. If thats the case, then you may need a new spring clip or whatever. I couldn't find one, so I had to bend that one back into shape. I thought my tranny was screwed up too, but it was just the passenger side axle coming out...
