car chics rule....

what are you trying to do? remove the axle right?

just remove the axle bolt from the rotor, undo the bolt on the bottom of the rotor, tap it with a hammer, then it should pop right out.

next youll want to undo the bolt on the "fork thingy", so you can pull it forward to take the axle out.

then just pop the axle out, careful not to pull the rubber boots apart. the bearings that are in there are covered in grease and a pain in the *** to get back together.

well hope this helps.....

use a big ******* hammer (BFH) and hit the solid metal where the ball joint is and it will come loose .. it will take a few good hard whacks to get it but that is the best way to do it ... to get the axle out of the trans just use a big screw driver or a prybar and pry outwards and it will come loose

as far as what axles will fit on your car ... any accord from 86-89 will work ... but i recomend just buying rebiult ones ... if you were local i would get them for you at my shop discount ... 39.00 but you can get them at autozone for like 59.00
