fan?
Hook up a switch, directly to your battery.

I need to do this too, somethings wrong in my wiring somewhere, and the fan never kicks on. It overheated a couple weeks ago at the track. Pretty embarassing... It'll take some extra speaker wire and some electrical tape to put the switch in your cab. But then again, the fan isn't supposed to kick on until a certain temperature... Don't forget to turn your fan off when you go somewhere either...
My 84 CRX fan comes on all the dang time, and it stays on after I shut the engine off every now and then. Maybe you should look into that about some sort of relay that allows the thing to do that. Its all up to you man.

what i would do is jumper together the two prongs on the switch. with the ignition on, the fan shoulw turn on. if it doesn't, your relay might be bad.
to check the CTS, you are supposed to suspend it from a pot of water and then heat the water up. once the water gets up over 190 degrees F, the 2 pins should have continuity.
