Default stock 1/4 time

okay maybe i will start off by describing my car first. The engine is completly stock dont even have an air filter and auto tranny. was using 17'' rims w/ kuhmo ecsta 215/45/17 tires, full body kit, carbon fiber hood. had full interior except for the spare tire in the back. car weighed in at 2570 w/o me in it. okay i am going to list my best and worst run.

this was me just flooring it in drive the whole time

this is when i thought i could take some time off by starting off at the lowest gear and working up to drive. it actually almost took a full sec. off tho

basically the times suck, i was hoping on running high 16's low 17's but counldnt seem to do it in 4 tries. i tried neutral dropping it but i got 18.047 and 18.195. well these are my base times and now i am going to improve on them!! i guess you can call this a humble beginning hopefully my changeover will be coming soon, b18a engine, and 5 speed tranny(basically same engine, with only 60,000 miles on it, and transmission) while the engine is out i will be putting in a clutchmasters stage 3 clutch, throttle body, and skunk2 intake manifold, and neuspeed short shifter. i am currently in the process of piecing together a turbo kit. my goals are to run 250-300 whp (daily driver) hopefully everything works out!!

damn 18.5 still cant believe that!!!!!

Default Re: stock 1/4 time (adotlee)

best thing u could do is rev it up with e-brake ON until it starts pulling, and drop the brake at the light!!

those neutral drops are killing ur tranny!

but if you are seriously going to changeover to 5-speed then F**k it...

but your goals of having a Turboed b18a/5-speed manual sound really sweet!!
I hope you do it!! please do, and keep us updated!
